We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our US Data, CRM and Platform Technology team at CIBC. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day project activities, ensure project control procedures are followed, and work closely with other tech PMs, engineering teams, and auditors. This is a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 2-3 days per week on-site at our Chicago location.
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical project management experience within the banking or financial services industry
- Experience managing data-centric projects including data engineering, Salesforce, BI, APIM and/or cloud, data transformation, ETL, and data warehouse implementations
- Solid experience with project management and issue management tools like Planview, ServiceNow, and JIRA
- Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies, and knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulatory requirements, compliance standards, project governance, and reporting for highly technical initiatives
