M26242 Financial Analyst

The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Finance Support Service with a strong focus on Finance, Accounting, expenses analysis and cost reallocation. The position is based at CIMMYT's campus in Texcoco, State of Mexico, and is responsible for participating in the budgeting process, liaising with Program Finance Manager, executing monthly monitoring and financial analysis, and preparing accurate financial reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Financial, Accounting, Budget, Forecast & G&A Analysis
• Experienced in ERP usage (financial modules), MS office, and management of large databases
• Experienced in project finance management (project budgeting, implementation, monitoring, financial analysis & reporting) and engaging with senior management levels
• Demonstrated experience in the preparation of relevant and timely financial management information
• Proven strong analytical skills and the ability to identify project finance opportunities
• Proven advanced Excel & Power BI (Business Intelligence Dashboards) skills
• Ability to work independently, to prioritize and to plan
• Proactive and flexible, able to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to details
• Proficiency in English (C1), with good written/oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work with different nationalities, under pressure and as a member of diverse work team
