Trade Compliance Manager

Cintas is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead the import/export operations for our Global Supply Chain Logistics Organization and ensure compliance with the import and export laws of the countries where we do business.

Requirements

• Manage day to day activities relating to the export and import compliance program to assure compliance and proper documentation.
• Implement, maintain, and drive the adoption of policies and procedures that are required to comply with Trade Compliance laws and regulations.
• Partner with stakeholders including legal, tax and accounting to drive maintenance of customs valuation-related programs such as value reconciliation and CARM.
• Work directly with Freight Forwarders, Customs officers, Customs Brokers, and internal and external customers on all matters pertaining to Customs and Import/Export regulations.
• Establish and oversee internal audit processes for accurate classifications, Free Trade Agreements, and valuation claims.
• Review and monitor product HTS tariff classifications and monitor updates and changes applicable to these schedules in accordance with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and applicable laws and regulations.
• Utilize ACE reporting to facilitate audits for import and export adherence.
• Provide continuous training to all departments subjected to import/export compliance.
