Job Description
The Junior Systems/Software Safety Engineer will support the development and implementation of safety programs, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate hazards throughout the system lifecycle.
Requirements
- US citizenship
- Residence near Huntsville, AL, or willingness to relocate
- Bachelor's degree (or Master's) in Engineering (systems or safety) discipline
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Basic knowledge of safety principles, regulations, and practices
- Experience with hazard mitigation techniques and risk analysis on weapons systems
