On-Call Video Technician – Blue Man Group Orlando

We are seeking an on-call video technician to provide show and rehearsal coverage on the video track, as well as maintain and repair all elements of the show under the video department's jurisdiction.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Extensive experience and knowledge of video systems and running shows
• Technical run crew and some rigging experience
• Organizational skills
• Knowledge of Lighting/Electric systems
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to handle technical issues swiftly during a live show
• At least 2 years of previous experience, or in a similar environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts or a similar field
• Ability to obtain OSHA 10 course completion card
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate via headset
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including climbing, crouching, kneeling, standing, lifting, sometimes for extended amounts of time
