Job Description
Setup and operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments out of metal. Load materials, tools, and programs into CNC machine equipment, measure dimensions of completed parts, and apply knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and metal properties to produce high-quality parts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years vocational program preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read drawings and technical specifications including global dimensioning and tolerancing (GD+T)
