Job Description
Senior Java Developer - Vice President role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines and applications, with a strong focus on Java and Python. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, combined with comprehensive business knowledge of financial data.
Requirements
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and APIs
- Drive design, simplification, and modernization efforts for individual system components
- Take ownership of technical frameworks and platforms
- Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
- Leverage expertise in Java-based frameworks, including Spring Boot
- Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify and address data discrepancies or gaps
- Demonstrate proficiency in deploying applications across both Virtual Machine (VM) and containerized environments
- Actively contribute to daily scrum discussions
- Serve as a technical advisor and coach to mid-level developers and analysts
