Job Description
Perform preventive inspections in orchards to identify diseased plants and prevent contamination.
Requirements
- High School Education
- Walk through orchards or platform attached to a tractor and inspect plants for diseases
- Identify and quantify diseases on plants
- Fill in inspection reports
- Collect samples with suspected diseases for laboratory analysis
- Delimitation, substitution, distribution, and reading of traps
- Identify streets and plants with pests or diseases for application of defensives and/or eradication
