Job Description
Join the City and County of Denver's Department of Parks and Recreation's Alternative Sports team as a Bicycle Education Instructor. Teach riding skills, basic bicycle maintenance, and bicycle safety to Denver's bicycle community. Work on-site at various program locations and develop a fun, safe learning environment.
Requirements
- Plan, coordinate, and implement activities and lessons for program participants
- Teach participants essential technical skills for successful and safe bicycle riding and route planning
- Facilitate and execute on-site bike program activities and lesson plans
- Deliver high-level customer service to all program participants
- Maintain a positive group atmosphere in which all participants are welcomed, included, and supported
