The Denver Public Library is seeking an Events Coordinator to support event management at the Central Library. The successful candidate will coordinate logistical, technical, and administrative support and activities for events, work closely with the Event Manager, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Theater, Fine Arts, Technical Production, or a related field
- Three (3) years of experience assisting with set design, stage or event productions
- Ability to work with different stakeholders at one time
- Ability to review work for accuracy and completeness
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
- Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively, and is knowledgeable about products and services
- Ability to express information to individuals or groups effectively
- Ability to demonstrate innovation and flexibility
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, balance multiple priorities and work with attention to detail
- Ability to understand and interpret written material, including technical material, rules, regulations, instructions, reports, charts, graphs, or tables
- Ability to write in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience
- Ability to bring a positive energy, excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and a sense of humor to the workplace
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
