Job Description
The Department of Public Health prioritizes equitable and inclusive access to quality healthcare for its community and values the importance of diversity in its workforce. The position requires a valid license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and performing essential duties such as assessing prospective clients, developing treatment plans, and compiling client records.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) for either Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
- 2 years of experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting or 1 year of experience in a mental health setting and a Master's degree in a related field
- Additional education in public health, social work, or a related field is highly desirable
