Job Description
The Medical Social Worker will perform routine medical social work duties, including evaluating social, emotional, and physical needs of clients, providing supportive counseling, and collaborating with interdisciplinary health care teams. The job requires a Master's Degree in Social Work and six months of social work experience in a healthcare setting.
Requirements
- Possession of a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
- Six (6) months (1,000 hours) of social work experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in inpatient, outpatient, or home health-based social work
