OPERATIONS MANAGER IN TRAINING (MIT) - TAMARAC

As an Operations Manager in Training, the primary function of this position is to learn all aspects of the business and develop a deep understanding of the CITY Operations Department with the goal of preparing associates for future leadership positions.

Requirements

• Participate in training plan to learn and apply company standard operations procedures and policies within the Distribution Center.
• Obtains certifications and training related to job performance and department policies within specified period of time.
• Manages physical resources to ensure associates have the right resources at the right time to successfully perform their roles.
• Performs the responsibilities necessary to start and end a shift in the department, including auditing and correcting Associate timecards and maintaining a clean and organized department.
• Cooperate with all Associates to ensure the success of the assigned department.
• Gain exposure to safety policies and procedures and ensuring that Associates utilize the proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages and reduce injuries.
