Job Description
This position exists to provide maintenance support to city parks, recreation and commercial building facilities. Any specials skills required will be on-the-job training under direct supervision. The employee is also required to complete other tasks as assigned, especially as they relate to special event or city festival preparations.
Requirements
- Familiarity operating zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, tractors, UTVs, chainsaws preferred
- Working knowledge of common hand tools and power tools.
- The ability to follow and comprehend written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to apply safe working habits.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, CDL preferred and a driving history that meets the requirements to be covered by the City’s insurance.
- 6 months related work experience, preferred
