Job Description
The City of Aurora is seeking a Traffic and Signs Marketing Technician to ensure our roads remain safe. This job involves hands-on work, ensuring the Signs and Markings team runs smoothly, and performing tasks such as installing traffic signs, painting pavement markings, and working in construction zones.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- ATSSA safety certificate
- IMSA Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control Certification
- RTD On-Track Safety Training Certification
- Ability to operate paint gun controls, platform truck, and thermoplastic equipment
- Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, in all weather conditions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees
