Lifeguard I (NCS) - Baltimore City Recreation and Parks

The City of Baltimore is seeking Lifeguard I positions for the upcoming pool season. Selected candidates will oversee the activities of swimmers at one of Baltimore City's public pools to prevent accidents. Responsibilities include providing aid, rescuing swimmers, administering CPR and/or first aid, and maintaining pool facilities. Applicants must have a minimum age of 15 and meet the minimum requirements for each position, including certification in Lifeguard I.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years old
• Must have a work permit issued by the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (for those under 18)
• Must have Lifeguard I certification
