Job Description
As a Police Officer II (Certified), you will be responsible for protecting life and property, preventing crime, and enforcing laws and ordinances in various assignments, including patrol, warrants, CID, training, narcotics, school resource officer, K-9, and bomb squad.
Requirements
- Arkansas State Certified or Out of State Certifications accepted by Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training (CLEST)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
