Job Description
Responsible for performing technical work in the review and processing of construction project permits, providing customer service, and performing financial activities in support of department operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- One year of customer service and cash handling experience.
- ICC Permit Technician Certification within six months.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of basic filing principles & basic bookkeeping practices
- Skilled in reading and interpreting construction documents and plans
- Skilled in interpreting and applying applicable code requirements and permitting processes
- Skilled in tracking and handling cash and evaluating cash handling procedures
- Ability to write and speak effectively
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and manage multiple projects
