Job Description
Manages assigned staff and activities to maintain the City’s roadway and drainage infrastructure in safe condition, provides leadership to assure that Public Works operations and maintenance services are provided in alignment with the City's strategic objectives and state and Federal laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
- Five years' work experience managing infrastructure construction and maintenance projects, including two years supervisory experience
- Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License
- OSHA safety rules and regulations, and safety standards in hazardous traffic environments
- Federal and state rules and regulations, occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Proper use and storage of chemicals, including OSHA Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicals used in the workplace
