Job Description
The City of Edmonton's Indigenous Relations Office is seeking a strategic and compassionate leader to advance our commitment to reconciliation. This position plays a critical role in advancing the City's reconciliation efforts through high-profile, complex, and intersectional work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Sociology, or a related field of study
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience including demonstrated competency in project management and strategic planning, including change management
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in community/social development, specifically working with Indigenous non-profits, organizations, leaders, community, and government
- Lived experience with traditional Indigenous communities, history, culture and current environment
