Job Description
This is specialized work in receiving and dispatching information in the Police Communications Division. The Police Dispatcher deals with the public and city employees, works rotating shifts, and dispatches police and other response vehicles for emergencies.
Requirements
- Must be a citizen of the United States at the time of application and a Missouri resident at time of appointment
- Minimum age 18 and demonstrates maturity
- High school graduate or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices
- Good moral character
- Valid driver’s license
