The City of Fort Worth is hiring a Sr. Professional Engineer to lead teams in the development and initiation of complex capital infrastructure projects, primarily Stormwater-related. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field, three years of professional civil engineering experience, and registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering or a related field
- Three years of professional civil engineering experience, two of which must be related to civil engineering design and construction projects and/or infrastructure design/review of private development projects
- Possession of registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. If licensed in another state, continued employment will be contingent upon obtaining registration as a Professional Engineer within the State of Texas within six months of employment
- Valid driver's license
- At least seven years of engineering experience; four years of experience must relate to Stormwater management/drainage
- Project Management Professional PMP certification
- Highly familiar with fundamental principles, practices, and techniques of Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, drainage and civil engineering
- Experience with FEMA and other federal agencies' regulations and permitting
