Engineer IV - Development Review

The City of Gainesville Public Works Department is seeking a talented professional to join our team of community builders in the role of Engineer IV, with primary responsibilities involving Development Review. This role involves advanced, independent professional and technical engineering work in support of the City's vision for 2035.

Requirements

• Plans, schedules, conduct, and coordinates major engineering projects.
• Performs work, which involves engineering practice, which may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, materials suitability, optimization of resources and design, and intricate coordination requirements.
• Provides guidance, assistance and/or interpretation to others.
• May provide supervision or coordination of work of one or more subordinate engineers / utility designers, engineering technicians, and other support personnel who assist in specific discipline.
