Job Description
The Communications and Public Engagement Department of the City of Georgetown is offering one (1) internship position for summer 2026. The intern will help develop social media content related to City services/projects, as well as learn about the other functions of the Communications and Public Engagement Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Ability to write clear concise messaging
- Ability to write in journalistic style
- Knowledge of AP Style
- Valid Class "C" Texas driver’s license
