Job Description
The City of Guelph is seeking hardworking, motivated team players to work as Parks Summer Labourers in various roles, including Turf Maintenance, Sports Fields Maintenance, Horticulture, Park Infrastructure, Urban Forestry, Trails Maintenance, and Natural Area Stewardship.
Requirements
- Valid G or G2 Driver's license and a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Ability to work from April to August
- Ability to work with various small tools and equipment
- Ability to perform physical work and in all types of weather
- Strong focus on quality customer service
- Demonstration of community mindedness through volunteering, community outreach and other initiatives is an asset
- Experience in landscaping, construction, farming or other related experience is an asset
