Job Description
Contribute to the City of Hamilton's Public Works team as a Truck & Coach Technician. Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections, diagnose and repair Transit vehicles and equipment, and work with a minimum of supervision.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Truck and Coach Technicians Licence (310T)
- Capable, knowledgeable, and current in all aspects of 310T Qualifications
- Valid Class "G" Ontario Driver's Licence with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class "C" with "Z" endorsement Driver's Licence
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Physical capability to use heavy tools and equipment, work outdoors, and work evening, night and weekend shifts
Benefits
- Time and a quarter on Sunday (1.25 x rate of pay)
- Annual tool allowance: $1300.00
- Annual boot and clothing allowance: $400.00
