Job Description
The Admissions & Adoptions Counselor is responsible for activities in the Admissions, Adoptions and Lost Pet Centers regarding animal intake and adoption, including scheduling, customer service, and initial vaccinations and microchipping.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in animal welfare and shelter operations preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- NIMS level training
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time efficiently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, stressful setting
