The City of Independence is recruiting for an Electric Distribution Manager to oversee the construction, operation, and maintenance of the City’s transmission and distribution division.
Requirements
- Graduation from college with an associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Four (4) years of experience in utility, power, light and general municipal government
- Current Journey Lineman status
- Valid driver’s license
- NIMS level training within first six months of hire
- Ability to work on call, overtime or extended hours during emergency conditions or as needed
- Pass background and drug screening
