Job Description
The Treatment Plants Operator (Non-Certified) - Wastewater position involves controlling the wastewater treatment process and equipment, maintenance of equipment, and laboratory analysis. The role also includes participation in the City of Lloydminster's Safety Management System and assisting in promoting and conducting the City's Pollution Prevention Program.
Requirements
- Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in the fields of wastewater and/or water treatment, environmental management, or an acceptable equivalent
- Ability to upgrade certifications throughout the course of employment
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License registered in Alberta or Saskatchewan with an acceptable Driver's Abstract
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Academic Credential Assessment (for applicants with international education)
