Job Description
This is a hands-on supervisory position responsible for daily assignment of work orders, monitoring performance, and ensuring work quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years sanitation experience with at least 3 years route driving experience
- Excellent physical condition and ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination
- Ability to lift and carry garbage/trash/brush loads weighing approximately 35 to 70 pounds
- Knowledge of equipment, materials, safety practices, and proper work procedures currently used in waste disposal
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to use a computer with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and associated work order software
