Staff Analyst Level 2 - Litigation Support Analyst

The candidate will work in the Litigation Support Division’s Agency Based Discovery to assist with the respective agency’s compliance with its discovery obligations in litigation brought against the City. The candidate will be responsible to assist management in conducting studies and to collect and analyze data on operations.

Requirements

• Collect and analyze data, identifying possible quality issues, and assist with developing and implementing processes to correct such issues
• Analyze existing protocols and prepare comprehensive reports of findings with recommendations for improved efficiency
• Communicate with Law Department personnel and other client agency staff regarding reports, charts, graphs and related documents as well as pending requests and issues
• Identify, develop and recommend quality assurance methods to help resolve issues as needed
• Prepare and conduct searches in assigned client agencies systems for discovery responses
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the rest of Microsoft Office
• Experience with productivity software products
• Familiarity with SQL-based databases
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
