Job Description
The City of Olathe is seeking a Lead Utility Maintenance Worker to perform semi-skilled and skilled work in the construction, operations, maintenance, and repair of the city's water distribution and wastewater collection system. The position leads the crew and coaches and mentors new employees and crew members.
Requirements
- Ability to navigate GIS and Cartegraph
- Attention to detail and accuracy for data entry in billing system
- Ability to effectively work with citizens, plumbers, builders, and engineers
- Valid driver's license
- Class A commercial driver's license with air brake and tanker endorsement within six months of employment
- Class I ABC certificate in Water Distribution or Wastewater Collection
