Job Description
The Ottawa Police Service is seeking candidates to join their ranks as Experienced Agents. This role requires a Canadian citizen or permanent resident with a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. Candidates must have a Basic Police Officer Training Certificate and at least two years of experience in policing. The successful candidate will work a 24-hour shift, 7 days a week rotation, and be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Requirements
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid driver's license from Ontario or equivalent provincial license
- Be in possession of a Basic Police Officer Training Certificate issued by the Ontario Police College or equivalent
- Have successfully completed the probationary period in your current or previous police service
- Be in good standing with your current or previous police service
