The Facilities Operations mandate is to operate and maintain all city facilities and buildings managed by the city, which represents approximately 900 buildings and includes police, fire, libraries, child care services, paramedic stations, leisure, culture, public works, city hall and other administrative buildings, long-term care facilities, and external properties.

Requirements

• General knowledge of facility cleanliness rules and safe working methods;
• Cleaning and disinfecting chemicals, their safe use and related procedures;
• Effective cleaning techniques;
• SIMDUT;
• Principles of customer service;
• Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including workers' rights and duties;
