The Summer Student - Camp Counselor position is a dynamic and inclusive role within the City of Ottawa's Community Services Department. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children and youth during the summer season.

Requirements

• Provide guidance and support to children and youth during summer programs
• Organize and lead recreational activities, games, and sports
• Develop and implement creative programs and events for children and youth
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children and youth during activities and events
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
• Collaborate with other Camp Counselors and staff to achieve program objectives
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about program activities and events
