Project Manager, Climate Change

You are responsible for leading climate change initiatives and projects which support the City’s efforts in addressing climate change. This involves developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, mitigate climate change risks, and build resilience to changing climate conditions across all departments.

Requirements

• Completion of four (4) year University degree in Environmental Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, or Physical Geography), Environmental Studies/Climate Change, Urban Planning, Public Policy or Business Administration, or Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of policies, strategies, plans, programs, or projects within complex technical, operational, or regulatory environments, with experience conducting research and analysis, engaging partners, preparing reports, and managing external consultants.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
