Job Description
The River and Aquatic Rescue Worker ensures the safety of clients using the City's beaches and facilities, monitors client behavior, intervenes in emergency situations, and ensures the safety and enjoyment of clients in aquatic environments.
Requirements
- Valid certificate in general first aid, level C on the RCR, and DEA
- Accessibility LAPHO / NAI training
- Up-to-date lifeguarding certification - pool
- Certification in oxygen therapy or respiratory tract management / SSV
- Up-to-date lifeguarding certification - preferred beach
- Recreational boat operator's card desirable
- Advanced lifeguarding certification desirable
