The incumbent assists the collections officer and cultural planner in the intellectual and material management of artifacts and artworks.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a university or college program in history, art history, fine arts, social sciences or museology
- Possess one year of experience in the management and registration of collections in a museum or gallery
- Possess one year of technical experience in a museum or gallery
- First aid certification, RCR or DEE certification
- LAPHO/NAI customer service training
- Have excellent communication skills in person, in writing and interpersonal
- Have a keen sense of organization and exceptional ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Have excellent knowledge of computer systems
- Be able to meet objectives within an established schedule
- Be able to solve problems
- Have an attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
