Lead GIS Analyst

The City of Philadelphia is seeking a Lead GIS Analyst to create, analyze, and maintain various spatial databases and applications using ArcGIS suite of desktop products, ArcGIS Online, and scripting tools.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain geospatial datasets.
• Complete metadata documentation of datasets and processes.
• Provide geospatial support to other city agencies.
• Create and maintain web map applications.
• Create and share surveys using Survey123.
• Assist with administration of ArcGIS Online organizations.
• Read and comprehend indoor floorplans.
• Query, analyze, and prepare statistics on spatial and non-spatial data.
• Prepare and execute workflows and automated routines.
• Prepare and execute queries in spatial and non-spatial databases.
• Interact with analysts from other departments.
• Participate in meetings and events within department and wider GIS user community.
• Conduct presentations on enterprise specific topics at meetings and conferences.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and/or training sessions to City staff.
• Handle ad-hoc mapping requests and provide GIS support as needed.
• Work on interdepartmental projects.
