The River Liaison Manager is a grant-funded, pilot position that will serve as a model for Schuylkill River, Delaware River, and riverfront place-based engagement and activations with nearby communities. The manager will play a vital role in connecting nearby communities, particularly historically under-represented populations, with meaningful opportunities to experience, shape, and care for the rivers.
Requirements
- Completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant leadership experience working in a public space and/or management position.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in program development, engagement in parks, youth programming, river-based recreation, sustainability, athletics, or public administration.
- Demonstrated experience leading large collaborative initiatives involving multiple and diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with and knowledge of City government preferred.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to travel locally.
