Job Description
The Police Officer position involves enforcing federal, state, and local laws, and performing related police activities, including patrolling assigned areas, investigating incidents, and making arrests.
Requirements
- Possession of an associate's degree or completion of 2 years of college coursework
- High-school diploma and three (3) years of prior law enforcement or corrections experience
- High-school diploma and three (3) years of full-time, active military experience
- High-school diploma and five (5) years of experience as a member of the Tampa Police Department Reserve Force
