Job Description
The Business and Financial Analyst will improve financial data recording and reporting by developing and improving procedures for finance and payment administration to ensure compliance and standardize customer service.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Project Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Considerable experience in positions involving primarily general accounting, and/or project management functions in a larger organization
- Considerable experience in SAP and/or SAP Ariba systems
- Considerable experience developing or implementing corporate policies, procedures, or workflow improvements
- Knowledge of or experience applying public sector legislation and frameworks, including the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB) standards, and municipal procurement and financial control policies
