Job Description
The Division Chief - Mechanical Maintenance is a senior management position within Toronto Fire Services (TFS) Mechanical Division. The role is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the Mechanical Division, including maintenance and repair operations for the TFS fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a leadership role within a large heavy truck fleet management operation utilizing a dedicated electronic records management system
- Extensive experience as an effective and capable leader and manager in a unionized environment
- Considerable experience in asset management operations
- Considerable experience in inventory management, warehousing, and stock control operations
- Experience in contract management and procurement
- Accomplished executive leader with a strong track record of building consensus and advancing a shared vision
