The Transportation Services Division is seeking five (5) Project Leads to support key functions within the Street Permits Utility Management team. This is an exciting time to join a growing team that is transforming how the City of Toronto manages and oversees utility work within the public right-of-way.
Requirements
- Considerable experience in data analysis and reporting, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with other data analysis tools.
- Considerable experience managing complex issues, complaints, and escalations involving staff, the public, contractors, and external stakeholders such as utility companies.
- Considerable experience in project management and coordination, with a demonstrated ability to lead projects from initiation through implementation with minimal direction.
- Post-secondary education in a related field such as administration, planning, engineering, construction, policy development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including elected officials and community groups.
- Proven leadership ability, including providing direction, managing competing priorities, and delivering results in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment on technical matters.
