City Parks Foundation (CPF) is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming New York City's public parks into vibrant community centers through arts, education, sports, and environmental programs. CPF produces the largest free outdoor performing arts festival in NYC, SummerStage, and offers various athletic programs and nature-based learning experiences to engage all New Yorkers. Through partnerships and innovative approaches, CPF fosters thriving communities by enhancing urban park spaces.

High school students with basic knowledge of coastal ecology and interest in working with middle school-aged students

High school diploma, track & field experience, ability to work with diverse groups, and prior group-teaching experience preferred
Coastal Classroom College Intern, Summer
Bachelor’s Degree or anticipated degree program in Education, Marine Ecology, Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or related field and at least 1 year experience in delivering instruction to and working with adolescents in an educational setting
Sara D Roosevelt Park Community Fellow
Knowledgeable, committed, and familiar with community organizing practices, with experience in outreach, community event promotion and engagement, and flyering, door-knocking
Usher, SummerStage, Central Park
18 years or older, 1+ year customer service experience, excellent communication skills
Yoga Instructor
Experience with diverse groups and communication skills required
Girls Forward Sports Instructor
Must have strong playing ability, experience working with youth, and commitment to girls’ empowerment
Tennis Instructor (Youth and Seniors)
Advanced playing ability, group-teaching experience, and exceptional communication skills
