Hygienist, Dental

You provide dental public health services as mandated under the Ministry of Health - Ontario Public Health Standards (OPHS), Oral Helath Protocol, Health Protection and Promotion Act, College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics and Guidelines and Dental Hygiene Act. All services are to be delivered in a professional, respectful and non-discriminatory manner.

Requirements

• Completion of 3-year diploma of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a dental office, preferably with clients of different age groups, cultural, economic and social backgrounds
• Dental Hygienist registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
• Valid Ontario unrestricted G class driver’s licence (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points accumulated
