Summer Student - Camp Coordinator

The Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is responsible for building a healthy, inclusive and vibrant City, as well as ensuring that communities, residents and visitors have access to the recreation and cultural places, programs, events and services that allow them to experience all the benefits the City has to offer. Under the guidance of a Program Coordinator or Recreation Supervisor, you are responsible for the coordination of recreation, arts, aquatics or sports programs for preschoolers, children and youth during the summer months.

Requirements

• Post-Secondary Student (completion of first year college or university)
• Minimum of 8 months but less than 1 year of related experience
• 300 hours of working as a Camp Counsellor/Leader or Senior Camp Counsellor
• Current Standard First Aid, CPR-C and AED certificates
• AODA Accessibility/IASR Training
