Job Description
Rosepark Retirement Community is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse to work as part of a team to provide quality care to residents in a geriatric setting. The nurse will assist in the planning and development of resident care, deliver medication, and perform assessments and surveillance of residents.
Requirements
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and Medication Administration Certification
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Two years or more experience in a geriatric setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Supervisory skills, emergency management, and added nursing skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Capable of adapting to different situations and change
- Keen interest in working with seniors
