Job Description
This is a full-time EHS Manager position at Clarios' Winston Salem location. The job involves overseeing and implementing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) operations at a single plant, as well as assisting with EHS activities at other sites. The EHS Manager will partner with other members of the EHS Cluster and Regional EHS leadership teams to ensure seamless implementation of Global, Regional, and plant EHS standards, practices, systems, and tools. The role requires strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Industrial Safety or related field
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety, or both, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%
- Valid driver’s license
