Job Description
The Lead Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) Jail Transition Coordinator provides supervision to a team of MOUD Jail Transition Coordinators tasked with direct case management services to incarcerated people receiving MOUD or on the waitlist for MOUD in Clark County Jail.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, mental health, behavioral sciences, or a related field
- At least two (2) years of experience working with people with legal system involvement
- Proof of credentials required
- Licensure in the State of Washington in compliance with WAC 246-809 as a counseling professional highly preferred
- Ability to supervise a team of MOUD Jail Transition Coordinators, support individualized release plans, and develop, supervise and implement an internship program
- Knowledge of effective methods of team supervision and management, effective correctional and reentry practices, and strategies to coordinate services for incarcerated persons
